Andrew Kent is a 2021 RHP/UT with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Livonia, MI who attends Franklin. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.32 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, works from the stretch, slight crossfire to delivery, very compact arm stroke through the back to three quarters slot release, fastball worked 79-81 mph with flashes of arm side life, showed curveball with good shape and depth, lands it for strikes. Switch-hitter, graded out better from right side, showed quick RH stroke with good barrel skills, worked to all fields on a line. Worked out in the infield, hands work well out front and moves well to both sides, clean exchanges into quick release, clocked up to 81 mph on throws. Very good student.
