Colton Castilaw is a 2019 RHP/MIF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Lufkin, TX who attends Hudson HS. Medium frame with room to fill out and add strength upon physical maturity. Primary righthanded pitcher with a compact delivery and little wasted motion. Long arm action through the back with a higher three-quarter arm slot. Attacked hitters with his fastball that was up to 83 mph and had quality arm side run. Good command of the curveball with quality depth and tight spin. Able to throw the curveball for strikes and also used to induce swings and misses. Righthanded hitter with a direct path to contact. Upright, even stance and repeats the swing well with a smooth line drive swing plane. Works to all fields with balance and can create a good amount of line drive contact. Present bat speed with strength through contact. Turns the barrel well when working to the pull side. Outstanding student.
