Bobby Wilson is a 2018 3B/RHP, 1B, SS with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Minnetonka, MN who attends Hopkins. Large frame with long limbs and a lean build. Primary third baseman with deliberate footwork while traveling to and surrounding the baseball. Funnels the baseball from a slightly deeper position and works through transfer with clean glove to hand exchanges. Released from a compact three-quarters arm slot produced some carry across the infield at 79 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, even stance and reaching front side trigger. Creates some linear shift into contact. Compact, inside path to contact with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Barrel entered and exited the zone quickly while employing a mid field to opposite field approach. Good student as well.
