Calen Callow is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Albuquerque, NM who attends Eldorado HS. Medium frame with a thick build. Ran a 7.05 second 60-yard dash. Defensively worked out as a primary outfielder. Short athletic movements to the ball. Fields to the side and funnels up. Has a longer transfer with a long arm action. Throws showed some carry with some developing accuracy to the bag on throws that topped out at 83 miles per hour. In game shows the ability to get the ball in quickly and is tough to take extra bases on. Righthanded hitter with an open stance and a turned in front foot. Starts with hands back away from body. A lot of movement pre-pitch but quiets down at load. Stays to the middle of the field but can take the ball to the opposite field as well. Some strength in swing when meeting the ball out front and on time. Slightly lifted barrel path and gets the ball in the air. Very good student as well.
