Leo DeRisi is a 2021 3B/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Xavier. Large and athlete frame with broadness to his shoulders and a high waist. Ran a 7.90 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, worked out in the infield fielding the ball out in front, shuffles into his release carrying momentum into throws, uses a compact arm action and can lower slot with accuracy, topped out at 76 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a wide base and a high hand set, takes a high leg lift trigger into swing, stays linear through the hitting zone, showcased some jump off of the barrel, middle to pull side approach. Good student.
