Nathan Diedrick is a 2023 RHP/C/3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Winter Garden, FL who attends West Orange. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Fast paced delivery on the mound with a high leg raise above the rubber, long arm action in the back, 3/4's release point out front, still developing consistency on his release. Curveball was his best pitch this outing, has 10/4 sweeping shape with tight break, has a good feel for locating his curveball. Fastball worked in the mid 70's and topped out at 77 mph early, mostly straight. Change up had potential, deadened the spin on it well with some tumble. Threw strikes and competed well. 7.34 runner in the sixty. Worked out in the infield and behind the plate, has some actions behind the plate with a good exchange and some idea on his footwork, third base tools in the infield. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a rock back load and short stride into contact, simple timer and trigger, middle of the field line drive contact. Good student.
