Braxton Russell is a 2021 SS/2B with a 5-5 140 lb. frame from Pinson, AL who attends Clay Chalkville. Utilized a smaller frame with a lean build showing some room to fill out in the future. Ran a 7.39 second sixty yard dash. Primary Middle Infielder who showed good feet underneath him with some fast twitch type play. Flashy hands play with clean transfers working well through the baseball. Arm strength is middle of the pack but shows accuracy from all angles. Mature field for the infield. Righthanded hitter who sits into his stance with pinched knees while balanced. Little weight transfer working into a low, short leg kick with his weight on his backside working into swing. Slight bat wrap around the head creating some loud pop at times. Gap to gap approach on a line drive plane. Good Student.
