Benjamin Slawsby is a 2020 3B/RHP, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Riverside, CA who attends Polytechnic. Slawsby has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively he showed developing footwork to the baseball and gets low when fielding the baseball. He funnels the ball to transfer and has a long arm action. Slawsby also worked out from the outfield and showed developing actions and showed some footwork on his outfield throws. He showed developing arm strength up to 72 MPH. At the plate he starts with a slightly open stance with an upright set up. He has a rotational lower half and keeps his weight on his backside. He has a compact swing path and showed some looseness to his swing. Slawsby showed some pop and flashed some young hitting tools. He pitched from a 3/4 arm slot and throws with a full arm action.
