Timothy Tierney is a 2007 3B/P with a 5'8'', 150 lb. frame from West Roxbury MA, who attends St Sebastian's. Timothy has a slender body with lean strength. Timothy starts with a straight narrow stance at the plate and uses a knee turn trigger to start his swing. Timothy has a fundamentally sound swing and stays behind the ball well at contact. Timothy stays balanced at contact and makes consistent solid opposite field contact. Defensively Timothy has quick feet and solid body control when fielding the ball. Timothy pitches from a 3/4 arm slot and uses a compact arm action. Timothy has good mechanics with a consistent repeatable delivery. Timothy throws a good 11/5 curveball with a developing change-up. Timothy is an excellent student.
