Adyn Collins is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Wadesville, IN who attends North Posey Sr. Recorded a 6.99 second 60 yard dash time, showcasing good speed. Primary outfielder with a medium and athletic build, fields off the side with a small crow hop into the throw. Clean footwork and balance, shows a long arm action and great carry on the throws at 88 mph. Secondary left-handed pitcher, occasionally double pumps in the delivery and creates a funky angle with some deception. Short and misdirected stride down the mound, comes from a high three-quarters slot with angle. Good arm side life on the fastball when in the zone, makes for a tough at bat for left-handed hitters. Left-handed hitter with an wide base and low hand and back elbow set. Hands don't move to load, utilizes a big leg lift trigger. Jumps forward into contact and shoots the hips forward. Is late getting the foot down at times, solid contact when on time and on barrel. Nice projection moving forward given the arm strength and speed combo. Excellent student.
