Zach Smith is a 2021 SS/RHP with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from East Greenville, PA who attends Perkiomen. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; good projection left. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.61 seconds. Low back elbow set when hitting, shifts well into contact, line drive swing plane with beginnings of loft to path, smoothness to barrel with easy swing overall, good hitting components overall, went to all fields with repeatable swing. Worked out in the infield, swivels hips well and shows athleticism to both sides, hands work well out front with clean actions, gets off quick release, arm clocked up to 76 mph. Also pitched; quick and compact delivery with longer arm stroke, fastball worked 68-72 mph with good command of the pitch, also worked in curveball with good shape and bite down in the zone. Very good student.
