Josh White is a 2019 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, MIF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Apex, NC who attends Middle Creek HS. Recorded a 7.72 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with present physicality and strength to the build. Primary shortstop who bends at the waist and feet move quickly. Under control well and gets on top of throws. Reads hops well with deliberate overall actions. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a compact delivery and few moving parts. Balanced and repeatable with a short rocker step into a leg lift slightly above the waist. Stays tall on the backside and gathers well at the balance point. Tight arm circle with good direction toward the plate. Hides the ball well and throws from a lower three-quarter arm slot.Gets some arm side run on the fastball. Curveball has sweeping action with tight rotation. Feel for the changeup out in front and showed fading action. Mixed pitches well and kept hitters off balance. Lefthanded hitter with a high hand set and a high back elbow. Easy swing with a short and compact swing path. Lifts the ball well with good feel for the barrel of the bat. Upper body dominant swing. Tremendous student.
