Raul Guillermo is a 2020 C/ with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends St. Brendan. Large and sturdy frame with present strength to the build. Ran an 8.50 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up with a side saddle starting position, receives the baseball out in front, clean exchange from his mitt to his hand with some quickness, could work on gaining additional ground to second base for more arm strength, compact arm stroke into throws, 2.17 second pop. Righthanded hitter, wide base with a high hand set and a high back elbow to start, small leg lift trigger used for timing, weight sits on his back side and could improve pop off of the barrel with the implementation of a weight transfer into his swing, long hand path to the baseball, showcased some opposite field raw pop that will improve with refinement.
