Branden Garza is a 2020 RHP/MIF with a 5-10 125 lb. frame from Ingleside, TX who attends Sinton HS. Younger look with a very lean frame; long limbs and room to fill out while projecting well physically. Primary righthanded pitcher with an over the top arm slot and long arm action. Upper and lower halves were in sync well with a high pitching IQ. Leg lift at the belt and works together with the hands upon gather over the rubber. Works with slight downhill angle on the fastball. Attacks hitters with some feel for pitchability. Shows athleticism on the mound and mixed in a curveball with 11/5 shape. Secondary middle infielder with solid footwork and moves well with some lateral agility. Developing arm strength but good feel for the position and potential to be strong defender as he continues to add strength. Righthanded hitter with an upright, even stance. Deeper hand load with a loose path to contact. Line drive swing plane with an up the middle approach. Good student.
