Logan Wynalda is a 2018 RHP/1B with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Hudsonville, MI who attends Hudsonville HS. Big and strong athletic build, has room to get stronger. High take away in back leading to a high 3/4's arm slot, has some crossfire with his direction out front, works over a hard front side on landing. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, has lots of heaviness and sink down in the strike zone, did a good job of working down and getting lots of weak ground ball contact. Tends to cast curveball at times with a lower elbow release, flashes good depth when he gets out front with it. Rare change up is developing. Right handed hitter with the strength and skills to be a two-way prospect, spread stance with good balance through his swing, has good rhythm in his swing, swings hard with intent and bat speed and showed his power well. Outstanding student.
