Carson Arons is a 2021 2B/RHP, SS, OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Studio City, CA who attends Notre Dame. Medium frame with a slender build and room to add. Ran a 7.21 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary second baseman. Fields out in front with a quick funnel in. Moves to and through the baseball well. Compact exchanges into a compact three-quarter release. Creates carry across the diamond topping out at 82 MPH. Fluid and athletic actions to build upon. Righthanded hitter with a narrow and slightly open stance. Loose hand path to contact with a slightly lifted barrel plane through the zone. Linear drift onto the front side with the lower half. Works contact to all fields. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a simple side step delivery into a leg lift above the belt. Lands slightly closed off down the mound and works across the body. Creates arm side run on the fastball topping out at 79 MPH. Can work a sweeping curveball across the zone as well. Very good student.
