Robert Morales is a 2020 MIF/RHP with a 5-9 168 lb. frame from Ponce, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. The primary infielder has a shorter athletic frame and he ran a 7.01 in the sixty. The high energy player has good first step quickness with clean actions and the ability to change arm angles with accuracy. Looks the part and the arm plays on the left side. The right-handed hitter has quick wrists that create some whip to the barrel. Leg lift trigger to help engage the swing and showed ability to drive the left-centerfield gap. The secondary right-handed pitcher has a full arm swing and a high 3/4 release. He pitched mostly to the glove side and displayed the ability to tunnel his slider for some swing and misses. Good student.
