Carlos Sanchez is a OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Extra-large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and a projectable frame, shows present strength but has plenty of room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.00 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes long strides moving towards the ball, actions developed throughout drills, good energy moving to and through the ball, extra steps at release, compact arm action, gets on top of throws and shows strength out of hand with accuracy on throws to home plate. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high back elbow in the box and shows nice balance to swing. Leg lift trigger for timing, loose swing and stays short and direct to the ball, nice extnesion out front with standout bat speed. Nice leverage and separation to swing, simple and repeatable approach with present pop to the pull side. Still projects very well. Named to World Showcase Top Prospect List.
