Connor Saccullo is a 2021 MIF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Laguna Niguel, CA who attends JSerra Catholic HS. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, fields the ball out front with some bend at waist, moves well on feet and works to the backhand well, some effort on throws across, overall arm strength will continue to develop but shows accuracy across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, begins with an open stance and a high hand set and back elbow in the box. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box, slight coil with front hip at top of leg lift. Gets mistimed occasionally with swing load, shows a full swing path through the zone and remains linear at point of contact. Generates some carry off the barrel, comfort working to pull side and shows a handle for the barrel. Very good student.
