Jordan Vargas is a 2023 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Barbara Goleman HS. Excellent frame with size, length, athleticism, and a lot of projection remaining. Primary righthanded pitcher with an athletic delivery, big leg kick, and a quick arm. Online through the back with a high three-quarters arm slot. Hard sinking life to the fastball and comes out from a fairly low effort operation. Drives down the mound and extends well. Hard 11/5 curveball with good depth and misses barrels. Arm strength plays from secondary position of the outfield. Righthanded hitter with a longer stroke, small leg kick, and has some carry off the barrel. Good strength through contact and can turn the barrel over to pull. Great student.
