Cory Smith is a 2007 1B/3B/P/OF from Notre Dame Cathedral Latin HS, residing in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, with a strong and athletic 6'2"/190 pound frame. Cory has quick feet in in the infield and athletic actions. He has consistent mechanics and is sure handed defensively. Smith is a line drive hitter from the right side with good power. He has a smooth swing and good power potential. Cory has simple mechanics on the mound. His fastball has late movement at 78 mph and he mixes in a 70 mph changeup. Cory is a good student.
