Andrew Mitchell is a 2019 RHP/UT with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Hobe Sound, FL who attends South Fork HS. Tall frame with a slender build and room to add. Has long limbs as well. Ran a 7.04 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher with a slow and balanced delivery from the stretch. Small leg lift and stays tall on the backside. Doesn't get much extension out front. Long arm action with a low three-quarters release. Ball comes out of the hand clean. Stays around the zone with arm side run to the fastball topping out at 80 miles per hour. Shows an 11-to-4 curveball with some late bite. Missed bats and generated soft contact. Also worked out defensively from the outfield. Easy arm action with a slower transfer. Throws stay on a line with some carry while staying accurate to the bases. Throws topped out at 79 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a narrow stance. Small leg lift trigger for timing. Utilizes a middle of the field approach. Good student as well.
