Austin Parks is a 2019 RHP/IF with a 6-2 207 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Woodrow Wilson HS. Big and physical build. Has energy in his delivery, hooked arm action in back, mostly high 3/4's in his release but will drop lower at times, will need to get more consistent in his release point moving forward. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, gets on hitters quickly and is hidden well, release point varies more on fastball than curveball. Curveball is his best pitch, has power and tight spin and hard biting action, sweeping shape, buckles knees and over matches hitters at times. Has elements to improve in his delivery to take him another step forward but curveball is his weapon. 7.19 runner. Good student, signed with Weatherford College.
