Jake Cooper is a 2021 3B/RHP, IF with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from State College, PA who attends State College Area. Large frame with square shoulders and strength in build. Ran a 7.86 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary third baseman. Hands works well when fielding out front and getting through the baseball. Has some carry across the infield on throws topping out at 71 miles per hour. Receives with soft hands and clean footwork throughout. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance and balance throughout. Uses the whole field while creating some leverage when meeting the ball out front. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a compact arm action in back. Releases from a high three-quarters arm slot. Filled up the zone with a fastball topping out at 73 miles per hour. Flashed a 12-to-6 curveball able to land for strikes.
