Aidan Donovan is a 2022 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-3 187 lb. frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends Fort Myers. Recorded a 7.51 second sixty-yard dash time. Long, lean frame with athletic look to it and room to add strength. Primary right-handed pitcher that works quickly, challenging hitters with his fastball early to all four quadrants effectively. Simple delivery with good rhythm and tempo, incorporates slight hip turn into balance and sound lower half movements down the slope. Fastball worked mostly in the mid-to-upper 70s during this look, topping out at 82 mph from a loose three-quarters arm slot. Shows ability to add and subtract with the fastball, consistently sinking it to his arm-side. Sequences well with four-pitch mix, flashing both curveball and slider throughout his outing. Curveball shows 1--5 shape to it and is thrown slower, while creating some late depth to it. Slider has the potential to be swing-and-miss offering in the future, flashing short horizontal break to it at 70 mph. Well-replicated changeup is best secondary at present, showing both fade and tumble. Proficient strike thrower with good feel for entire arsenal, will continue to improve with additional velocity.
