Jay Thomason is a 2020 3B/1B, OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Auburn, AL who attends Auburn. Flashed a medium to large frame with an athletic, strong lower half build. Stocky type build showing. Ran a 6.93 second sixty yard dash. Primary Thirdbaseman showing clean fielding actions while under control. Good feet underneath him showing some range at times. Waiting back on it then works through it well. Fluid arm action with an accurate arm from all angles. Lefthanded hitter starting with a narrow stance with a closed off front side. Landing balanced while relying on his upper half to create bat speed. Very strong hands showing plus bat speed while spraying it to all fields. Good feel for the barrel. Linear to uphill swing path with looking to punish the baseball. Outstanding Student.
