Jacob Cinelli is a 2020 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-11 189 lb. frame from Hartland, WI who attends Arrowhead. Medium frame with a stocky build and present strength. Ran a 7.23 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Short athletic strides to the ball fielding out in front. Quickness to transfers into a slightly uphill release. Has some present arm strength staying accurate to the bags topping out at 79 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with an even stance and low hands to start. Swings the bat with some intent creating barrel speed through the zone. Gets the barrel head out front and works to the pull side with consistent solid contact. Secondary lefthanded pitcher working exclusively from the stretch with a leg lift slightly above the belt. Lands in line to the plate with a strong stride out. Compact action in the back into a long and extended over top release. Utilizes a straight fastball early in counts at 77 miles per hour and will go to the curveball often. Shows a sharp 2-to-8 shape with some depth.
