Lloyd Richards III is a 2020 MIF/RHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Manvel, TX who attends Shadow Creek HS. Projectable body, large frame with room to fill, 7.13 runner in the 60, shows athleticism. Clean and easy actions in the infield, feet work well, plays below the ball with solid transitions to throw, longer arm stroke but has present arm strength with carry, shows control of his body, charges well and can throw on the run. Hits from a wide base with a high hand set, gets off his back side well with good weight shift into contact, middle to pull side approach with a swing that creates lift through contact, line drive approach with some pop in the bat, shows future power potential. Also pitches, easy effort delivery with timing, compact takeaway with a high 3/4 arm slot through release. Showed the ability to reach extension through release. Maintains direction to the plate and the ball comes out of his hand well. Fastball sits in the upper 70's, topping at 80 mph, with downhill plane. Curveball shows 11/5 shape with depth and later biting action through the strike zone.
