Mason Mitchell is a 2019 OF/RHP, MIF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Centennial, CO who attends Heritage. Medium frame with a slender build and room to fill out. Ran a 6.99 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Short strides to the ball while fielding out front with a funnel up. Full actions with a clean arm with strength. Carry to the infield when getting on top topping out at 83 miles per hour. Also worked out from the infield. Fields out front while bending at the waist. Quick and clean transfer into throws. Has some carry across the diamond topping out at 79 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance and high hand set. Utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing. Works to contact with rotational actions and hand quickness through the zone. Middle of the field to pull side approach creating some leverage when staying on time. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a deliberate rocker step delivery. Maintains direction down the hill while getting extended. Small arm circle in the back into a high three-quarters release. Mixes pitches well and keeps hitters off balance. Slight arm side run to the fastball at 81 miles per hour. Sharp sinking spin on the changeup and lands an 11-to-5 curveball for strikes.
