Jordan Ritzdorf is a 2017 RHP/ with a 6-6 185 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Millard North. Large frame with long limbs and a lean, athletic build. Shows wiry strength throughout, projects for additional strength with continued maturity. Primary right handed pitcher with a simple side to to high leg kick delivery. Stays tall on back side a gather and utilizes lower half well while driving to the plate. Front foot lands in line with the plate while carrying momentum through finish well. Creates a short arm circle back at separation and releases from a compact, high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball has occasional downward angle in the upper 70's to low 80's, topped at 81 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape with good spin and depth when located down in the strike zone. Good feel for each pitching with developing command to each edge of the plate. Frame and build project for additional velocity with continued physical maturity and mechanical refinement. Good student as well.
