Jordan Stone is a 2017 OF/UT with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Bellevue, WA who attends Newport HS. Medium frame with athletic, slender present build; good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.33 seconds. Loads hands deep when starting swing into slight hand bar, gets barrel down onto line drive plane early and shows solid bat speed through the zone. Coils hip back into load, uncoils well online. Shows good jump off the barrel when squared up on time, stays committed to the middle of the field through approach and had solid consistency throughout BP and at-bats. Worked out defensively in the outfield, moves in on ball well and stays down through fielding mechanics. Long, loose arm action with easy projection on throws, clocked up to 80 MPH with good accuracy. Good student.
