Gavin Williams is a 2021 OF/3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Desoto, KS who attends De Soto. Medium build with plenty of room to fill out and strengthen as he continues to develop, posted a 6.97 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder, moves well into the gap as well as down the line. Shows good aggressiveness on his reads off the bat. Fields off to the side, solid arm with throws that stay on line to all bags. Was gunned at 83 mph to home plate in the outfield workout. At the plate, uses a crouched and even stance with a hanging leg lift trigger. Good pop to all fields, plus pop to his pull side. Ability to backspin the baseball with consistency to his pull side. Projectable quick twitch actions, raw hit tool that stands to drastically improve. Great student in the classroom as well.
