Jayden Saylor is a 2019 RHP/3B/SS with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Wylie, TX who attends Wylie East HS. Recorded a 7.32 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with a lean build and room to add strength. Primary righthanded pitcher with a compact arm stroke and some added deception through the moving parts of the delivery. Tight release and arm slot, high leg lift and flashes some cut on his fastball that topped out at 84 mph. Good amount of weak contact and swing-and-miss with both the fastball and breaking ball. Can land the 11/5 shaped curveball for strikes and has some feel for the offering. Secondary infielder with sure steps through release. Arm strength recorded up to 82 mph across the infield with some carry on throws. Righthanded hitter with very good timing and some strength off the barrel. Lower half works well through the swing and the power potential is very intriguing. Good student.
