Medrick (MJ) Morgan is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 6-0 225 lb. frame from Round Rock, TX who attends Cedar Ridge HS. Large frame with a solid, strong build. Primary outfielder with aggressive footwork while closing to the ball. Stays behind the baseball well at pick up and worked through exchange with fluidity. Flashed good arm strength generating accurate carry to the bag at 84 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a tall stance. Moves into contact well with lower half and employed a naturally lifted path through extension. Swung with intent creating good strength at contact. Ball jumped off the barrel with authority when squared producing easy jump off the barrel to the gaps. Very good student as well.
