2016 Atlantic Coast Underclass Showcase
Jack Whitehouse is a 2018 OF/MIF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Asheville, NC who attends Asheville High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.15 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, gained ground well, longer arm action, fielded clean, and showed developing arm strength. At the plate, open stance, wide base, high hand set, high back elbow, and a toe tap timing mechanism. Linear swing path with a swing that worked primarily through the upper half. Developing feel for timing and bat speed. Will continue to improve with additional lower half and strength in swing. Exceptional student.
