Timothy Lawson is a 2024 LHP/1B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends Bishop Verot. Large and strong frame with present lower half strength and physicality. Ran a 7.69 second 60 yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, starts his delivery with a rocker step up to a high leg lift, takes his arm back to a long arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, crossbody delivery and will locate more consistently with adjustments to extension and out front finish, creates a downhill plane to the plate, has average arm speed through the back but still able to generate low-80s velocity on the hill. Fastball shows life to the pitch up to 82 mph, mixes in a curveball that is still in the developing stages. Secondary first baseman who showed the ability the ability to work through the baseball with good hands. Left-handed hitter, sets up at the pale with an open stance, deep hand load into a long swing plane, creates some barrel whip through the hitting zone, rotational swing with an uphill finish, looks to impact to the pull side.
