Graham Payne is a 2018 RHP/C/3B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Tahoma, CA who attends North Tahoe HS. Medium build, skinny and projectable frame with plenty of room to fill with added strength. Ran a 7.00 second 60 yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, online delivery landing slightly closed, long arm action to a low 3/4 arm slot, arm works, some effort at release, could really improve with fixed lower half usage, arm is late getting through circle but that does not effect command and adds movement to the fastball, mixed in a slider with some depth, fastball topped out at 78 mph. Also took reps in the infield, clean hands fielding the ball out front, needs to work on balls hit away from him, average arm strength across the diamond with good carry. Righthanded hitter, upright stance, high hand set with a high back elbow, simple trigger into swing with a bat waggle at start, could utilize lower half more into swing, steps in bucket, would like to see stay inline into swing, downhill barrel plane, longer hand path to the baseball, aggeressive approach with mostly solid contact.
