Daniel Ricketts is a 2019 1B/RHP with a 6-3 238 lb. frame from Flower Mound, TX who attends Flower Mound HS. Has a large frame with broad shoulders, large build, and looks physically mature. Posted an 8.45 second sixty yard dash. From first base, showed short footwork to the baseball with solid arm strength on throws across. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a narrow, upright stance and a leg lift trigger. Simple load into swing, stays short to the baseball and looks to lift baseball through contact. On the mound, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, with a short, compact arm action though the back. Lands online in delivery and works quickly. Fastball shows small life, curveball shows 11/5 shape with solid depth. Good student.
