Isaiah Montes is a 2021 C/1B, 3B with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from St Cloud, FL who attends Bishop Moore HS. Recorded a 7.43 second 60-yard dash time. Physical build with lots of well-proportioned strength throughout. Primary catcher with simple mechanics and gets his feet down quickly. Compact mechanics with a quick release and a best recorded pop time of 1.98 seconds. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a wide base to start. Quality bat speed with a balanced start and the ability to impact the baseball. Flat barrel path with some whip to the stroke. Quiet swing that is efficient and impactful. Great student.
