Adrian Lopez is a 2019 OF/2B with a 5-5 140 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cypress Woods High School. Very young player with a lean, slender build, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.51 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, used a short, compact arm action, worked through the ball well, and was accurate to to the bag. Clean footwork and developing arm strength on throws. At the plate, started with a narrow base, open stance, and a high hand set. Simple approach at the plate with a linear swing path and clean hand path. Compact to the ball with an up the middle and opposite field approach. Stays on plane well with fluid swing. Will continue to see improvement offensively with additional strength.
