Daalen Adderley is a 2019 SS/RHP, 2B, MIF with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Chattanooga, TN who attends McCallie School. Medium and athletic build with present strength proportioned well on the frame. Ran a 6.76 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, really nice actions in the infield with clean footwork, gets around the ball well working his hands well out in front, fields the ball consistently clean with a quick exchange from his glove to hand, has the ability to throw from multiple arm angles with plenty of arm strength, topped out at 83 mph from across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher, pitches from a short arm action and a 3/4 arm slot at release, hides the ball well through the back, pauses at the top of his leg lift for timing purposes, fastball is heavy and shows frequent armside run, flashed a tight slider with some feel to the offering, raw on the mound at present with potential with additional reps. Righthanded hitter, wide base with a small stride into contact, quick trigger leading to high level bat speed, looseness to his swing with quick hands and a line drive approach. Good student.
