Aaron Reyes is a 2021 C/1B, OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Whitter, CA who attends St. John Bosco. Medium frame with a lean build. Projects for additional strength. Primary catcher with a low, balanced stance while receiving the baseball. Gains ground while working out of crouch and displayed quick actions while working through exchange. Released from a compact arm action creating accurate carry to the bag at 77 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 2.00. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, even stance and medium leg lift trigger. Generated linear shift into contact with lower half while utilizing a slightly lifted plane through extension. Flashed some jump off the barrel when squared and primarily looked to work between the gaps. Excellent student.
