Nicholas Lopez is a 2019 OF/ with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Davie, FL who attends American Heritage HS. Lengthy frame with long limbs and tons of room to ad strength and size. Recorded a 7.10 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder with a three-quarter arm slot and arm strength up to 82 mph. Keeps the ball low to the ground and makes accurate throws to the base. Deliberate actions with the setup and feet were a bit inconsistent but flashed ability to work through the throw. Righthanded hitter with a closed stance and narrow base. Small stride into contact with a high hand set and high back elbow. Swings with intent and showed the ability to drive the ball to all fields. Consistent, direct path to contact with an easy, elastic load. Small toe tap into the stride and has a very projectable swing with room to add strength and bat speed. Excellent student.
