Christian Carratala is a 2020 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Coral Gables Senior HS. Recorded a 6.78 second 60-yard dash time. Lean athletic frame with some quick twitch muscle and room to fill. Primary middle infielder with good quick footwork and good arm strength recorded up to 83 mph. Flashy athletic tools and has very good athleticism, just needs to be a bit more in control. Arm strength and athleticism also plays from the outfield. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a longer, loose arm action and good arm speed. Velocity topped out at 84 mph and has some late life within the zone. Showed a shorter, cut slider once but attacked with fastballs. Switch hitter with high hand set, high back elbow, and a simple load. Graded out best from the right side with some pull side pop. Spread open stance with a high leg lift and good present bat speed. Good student. Named to the Sunshine East TP List.
