Christopher Hayes is a 2022 3B/RHP with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Oceanside, NY who attends Rabun Gap Nacoochee. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a short and compact swing, has some hand quickness when he stays short and can drive the ball with line drive contact. 7.45 runner in the sixty. Showed good range at third base on defense and has the ability to throw on the run, good arm strength that can improve with more lower half use in throwing. Also pitched, works from a full wind up with a high leg lift and low hands, gets coiled well at the top of his delivery and works down the mound aggressively. Full 3/4's arm action. Fastball topped out at 82 mph and worked mostly in the upper 70's, breaking ball was a slurve with nice sweeping depth at times.
