Cael Magill is a 2021 OF/RHP, IF, UT with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Atco, NJ who attends The Kings Christian. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.90 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance with high hands and back elbow, leg lift trigger, keeps hands inside ball on slashing path, quickness to the barrel coming through, shows good contact skills with whole-field approach, good contact skills with projection as he gets stronger. Primary outfielder, comes in on the ball well and fields cleanly, athleticism stands out in the outfield, stays balanced coming through, clocked up to 83 mph on throws. Also worked out in the infield, shows range to both sides, clocked up to 80 mph on throws. Also pitched, longer arm stroke through the back with rigidity, three quarters slot, open toe short stride, fastball worked 72-78 mph, flashed curveball with 10/4 shape and some sweeping action, good strikes. Good student.
