Nicolas Adamo is a 2020 C/ with a 6-0 188 lb. frame from Paramus, NJ who attends St. Joseph's Regional. Athletic frame with present strength. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary catcher with a low, side set stance while receiving the baseball. Gains ground towards the bag while working out of crouch. Quick glove circle through exchange and released from a compact three-quarters arm slot. Throws generated on line carry to the bag topping at 73 miles per hour, best workout pop time 2.03. Right handed hitter with an upright, open stance and large leg lift trigger. Created some linear shift into contact with lower half. Loose, extended hand path to baseball with a naturally leveraged barrel plane through extension. Swung with intent and displayed present strength at contact when squared. Primarily looked to drive the ball to the middle of the field between the gaps. Good student as well.
