Daniel Kaiser is a 2007 OF/1B from Cypress Bay in Weston, FL, with a lean 6'0'', 175 lb. frame. Defensively he does a good job getting to the ball quickly, and he reads the ball well off the bat. He has a very accurate throwing arm with solid online carry. The left handed hitter hits with low hands and a slight uppercut swing. He has a straight away and narrow stance, and shows a good trigger. Kaiser has a smooth, easy, low effort swing with good bat speed. He makes solid contact with developing power that will really come along as he learns to drive the ball. He stays back on the ball well and he can handle the ball low in the strike zone. Kaiser is a developing young player with upside both offensively and defensively. He is also a very good student.
