RJ (Rodolfo) Molina is a 2021 SS/2B/RHP with a 5-6 132 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ who attends Salpointe Catholic. Compact and young frame with some room to continue to fill out physically. Ran a 7.24 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves to the baseball with short steps, showcased advanced hands that are sure and smooth, transfer cleanly from his glove to his hand and releases quickly, compact and quick arm action into throws, topped out at 77 mph from across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher, begins his delivery with a side step up to a high leg lift, takes a quick and full arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, takes a short stride down the mound land closed, utilizes drop and drive actions in delivery, fastball topped out at 78 mph. Lefthanded hitter, uses a big leg kick into swing, creates some hand quickness and bat speed through the hitting zone, line drive approach at the plate, young strength off of the barrel currently that will improve with additional strength to frame.
