Devin Obee is a 2021 OF with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Nashville, TN who attends Ensworth. Flashed a larger frame with broad shoulders and a sturdy lower half. Strong, athletic build. Ran a 6.54 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, sitting back as he reads it off the barrel and then works into it. Gathers the baseball to the side and then slows down momentum into throws. Over the top release as he was accurate to the bag throwing it 81 mph during drills. Hustled in games as he just missed a diving catch in games, proving he has range while roaming the outfield. Right-Handed Hitter, starting with a balanced stance while the hands are high. Leg lift to stride and he generates big time bat speed with strong hands. Impacted the baseball with intent as he drove it deep to the pull-side. Also proved he could simplify behind in counts as he did so while singling up the middle in game. Outstanding Student.
